And the location is....

Las Vegas, of course. We are visiting with our daughter who lives here and celebrating her boyfriend's graduation from the police academy.

  1. Congrats to him! Have fun! I haven't been to Vegas in many years....always an adventure. I can usually only handle a few days of the madness, LOL! ;)

  4. Congratulations! We can always use more Police Officers,(except on the highways when I am trying to get home.)
Why didn't you ride your motorcycle to Vegas? I would have loved to seen a picture of you guys on the strip in your motorcycle duds!

  7. Wow! Amazing photo on the bottom. I was a little moved actually.
I'm wondering if many tears were shed there, too?

What a beautiful family you all have :)

  8. Lisa, there were a lot of tears. Donnie has wanted to be a cop since in kindergarten and he has worked really hard to get there. The police academy he went through is one of the most rigorous in the nation and the department that hired him one of the best. I had tears of pride, but honestly, also a bit of fear. The reality of the dangers in keeping the peace finally hit home.

    Thanks everyone for your comments.
