I think he was hoping I had a hand out of grain. He is a real sweetie.This little gem is unfurling in the sun and the fresh spring grass.

The Man from Snowy River -- a classic. I can't believe you have Spring grass already and a daisy. We have snow and zero degrees tonight. That's cold for our part of New Mexico.

of course, one of my favorite movies of all time!!!! and did you know that Tom Burlinson is now (or at least was in 2007) a judge on Australia's Got Talent?? I was in Oz at the time, the TV was on and i wasn't paying attention - and then I heard this voice I recognized (and hadn't seen the movie in years) - and it was him! still handsome, just older!
