That is great. I love to see horses at freedom. I love the looks on their faces - a combination of "what are you doing?" and "Are you going to feed us?"
I feed our horses at 5:30 am because of the heat. When I open the door out to their lot I always get a nicker from Sugar. No matter how I'm feeling that immediately brightens my day.
The best way ever to start the day. I don't get to feed until later in the morning (after the guests eat), but they don't mind since it's consistent. They wait at the fence line and I also get nickers when they hear my voice. It makes the guests laugh, so I figure we are making their day better, too! Juanita
